MEET YOUR UNION

BROTHERS & SISTERS

The following article is the first in series of articles that will be presented here as a means for fellow IAMAW Members to get to know each other. Hopefully these articles hopefully inspire us all.

For our next installment of the “Meet Your Union Brothers & Sisters” series we would like to introduce you to Brother Ryszard Wnorowski who is very young and extremely proud 69 year old member of the Machinists Union.

Ryszard
Brother Wnorowski works at the Dairy Conveyor Corporations out of Brewster, NY. As a mechanic Ryszard helps fabricate and construct the conveyor systems for milk companies all over North America. They build systems from scratch as per customers needs. Additionally they are constantly in the field traveling to and from milk companies installing and maintaining these systems. Whether it is taking raw metal and heating it, bending it or cutting, shaping, grinding or welding or whether they are adding chain drives or electric circuits Ryszard is a true picture of American Union Pride!

Got Milk? Well you can thank Brother Wnorowski for that!

Ed Wasniak, Shop Steward from Local 434 at Dairy Conveyor Corporations states that “Richard (English translation for Ryszard) is very good worker”.

Ed went on to say that “Richard is also a good union man who is getting

ready to retire in the next month” Business Representative Perry Esposito says that he has a great shop at Dairy Conveyor Corporations and he

is very proud of his members there. Obviously with Ryszard retiring

Local 434 will be losing a great guy.

In closing we would like to thank Ryszard for his dedicated service

as an employee of Dairy Conveyor Corporations as well as a

member of the Machinists Union.  We wish Richard all the best when he retires, we are sure that he will be missed! So the next time you pour yourself a nice cold glass of milk to go with your cookies try to think about Brother Wnorowski,

a proud American union man!
