Check out District 15's organizing victories and current organizing drives. Director
of Organizing: Vincent Addeo
YRC, Inc. - Buffalo, New York By a tally of 18-9, District 15 was successful on March 26th at YRC, Inc. in Buffalo, New York. Under the leadership
of DBR Jim Conigliaro, Director of Organizing Vinny Addeo, and BR Norm Shreve, District 15 was able to deliver a victory for
27 mechanics who work for the company. What was extra special about this organizing victory was the fact that we soundly defeated
Teamsters Local 15 who provoked the representation election when a number of their mechanics were merged into our group from
a IBT-represented Roadway location. BR Norm Shreve was very instrumental in bringing to light the benefit of belonging to
the IAM with a sound National Pension Plan in contrast to the IBT pension plan in serious jeopardy. Special thanks to BR Norm
Shreve for a job well done. His expertise played a significant role in getting several IBT members to vote for the IAM. This
was the 5th organizing victory for District 15 since January 1st with our next election scheduled for April 10th. Keep the
ball rolling!

Workers at Vantage Vote "Yes" Starting 2009 off on the right foot, District 15 won a decisive organizing victory today in
New York City by bringing in 52 new members from Vantage Management Services, LLC. Overcoming an aggressive anti-union campaign
staged by the company, these Latino building superintendents and porters stood strong in opposition to the company's lies
and threats. Thanks to the leadership of District 15 DBR Jim Conigliaro, Director of Organizing, Vinny Addeo and Business
Representatives Juan Negron and Dave Isabel this organizing campaign was a success.
